What to expect?

Lady Gaga returns to Brazil at a time of "rebirth" in her pop career. The show should follow the theme "The Art of Personal Chaos". It is a presentation divided into five acts, with costume changes and a setting that resembles a play. It is no coincidence that the singer called this show a "gothic opera".

The beginning of the show features the reading of a manifesto that represents Gaga's current era, that of the album "Mayhem".

What should the 5 acts be like?

1st act: Of Velvet and Addiction

The show should start with a dark and mysterious tone. Songs like "Bloody Mary", "Judas" and "Garden of Eden" explore themes like betrayal, redemption and religion. "Poker Face" should be a highlight of the beginning. The performance has visual elements that evoke a masked ball, closing with the remix of "Abracadabra", a current hit also played in its original version in this block.

2nd act: And She Fell into a Gothic Dream

In this second act, Gaga dives into a world of gothic fantasy. "Perfect Celebrity" and "Disease" have extended introductions to create some suspense. With less frenetic arrangements, with a more pop soul cadence, "Paparazzi" and "Alejandro" bring narratives about fame and desire. "The Beast" serves as a transition: in the sound part (more rock) and in the theme (more self-centered).

Act 3: The Beautiful Nightmare That Knows Your Name

The third part is marked by an increasingly dark atmosphere and rockier arrangements, with a special focus on the band that accompanies Gaga. "Killah" and "Zombieboy" have extended parts and 80s disco rock arrangements. The seventies ballad "Die With a Smile" and the cute pop "How Bad Do U Want Me" explore, at the same time, love as a desire and a sacrifice. "Wake Her Up!" features a new remix of "Abracadabra" in preparation for the next act.

Act 4: To Awaken Her Is to Lose Her

In this act, Lady Gaga focuses on themes that involve identity and acceptance. "Shadow of a Man" and "Born This Way" have extended introductions. Both narrate a journey of self-discovery. "Blade of Grass" and "Shallow" bring more softness to the show, with piano in the foreground. "Vanish Into You" closes the act and brings back the more intense beats, preparing for the finale. Lady Gaga then "disappears into the night", as she sings in the chorus.

Final: Eternal Aria of the Monster Heart

Before the final breath of the show, Lady Gaga presents an allegory in which she needs to be "reborn" after a medical procedure. "We are monsters and monsters never die", she warns. The show then reaches its epic finale. "Bad Romance", perhaps Gaga's best-known and most beloved song, is performed with some extended parts.

Pabllo Vittar

Pabllo Vittar is in Rio and participated in the remix of Gaga's "Fun Tonight", so it wouldn't be a big surprise to see this duet live.
